Something I prefer to do is getting charter customers involved as much as they want especially when running without a first mate like yesterday's trip. The experience is often more rewarding when you are directly involved with the action prior to getting the bite. If you would rather sit back and relax while letting the captain and first mate handle all that stuff, that is perfectly suitable too. Whatever you prefer on your trip!
